Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a name for herself in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. After a while, she relocated to Texas to pursue her career in physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas then moved back to Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles that included local independent films and international commercials. Despite small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. After moving to New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first part as an actress in the show All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The year 2004 saw her landing her first series-wide role on the short-lived show The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to appear alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. De La Garza has been nominated to win several Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then chosen to play a regular actor on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, the husband of David Caruso's role as Horatio Caine. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in the NBC drama Do No Harm. The show was cut by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years younger than her. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano began her career in the age of seven when her childsitter was with her on an acting audition. Milano was among four girls selected from among more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical version of Jane Eyre.
