Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on 19 November 1972 in London. She was the daughter of Chinese and French parents. Her family moved into Toronto Canada when she was five years old, which has been her home for the last five years. She started out as Paris catwalk model before opting to pursue a career as an actress. Annuka was first seen in the spotlight as an actor in the film Black Robe of 1991. The actress was nominated for a Canadian Oscar nominee for this character. Rapa Nui Rise to Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas followed with guest roles on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force, Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension, and Dance with the Murderer. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear throughout the 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was later followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are accessible on DVDVHS. After a series of smaller parts for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first big role as an actor in the lead role. After various guest roles in the series as well as smaller roles in film Holt took on a leading role on Hostages in 2013, and also a supporting role in the Netflix series House of Cards.
